pre-Cruise
Yesterday, I literally spent the entire day catching up on all of the stuff I haven't had time to do in the last two weeks. It's my new job, work is consistent over the long run, but in the short it can be kind of sporadic. I think I love it.
Tomorrow, some of my good friends (to link a few, here, here, and here) and I will be leaving for a four day, four night + one morning cruise from New Orleans to Cozumel and back.
I'll lay it out, at first I wasn't too pumped about the mentally-claustrophobic yours-truly taking a tour of the Gulf of Mexico for an extended weekend, but I came around. The more I thought about it, and the more Brent continued to vigorously countdown the days, it slowly began to sink in--no pun intended--this could actually be a lot of fun. Now, I'm REALLY excited!
In preparation, I went to the store and bought deodorant. You need that on cruises. You need that everywhere, really.
After I get back, I'll be posting a three-part, picture-intensive miniseries from our trip. I'm taking a computer to relieve my memory cards, but I don't expect to have internet access until I get home.
In the meantime, this guy really wishes he was Bob Dylan.
