Yesterday around lunch time, I put myself on Assignment: to find three different people whose picture I could t[m]ake. And I gave myself an hour to do it. I had two motives for this: the first, my internet was dead. Again. I think I’m going to fire Cox …for real this time. And the second, my true favorite, is that, simply put–I love to take pictures of people!
The first guy I came across was sitting in a doorway on Dauphine. He looked up from his book and promptly gave me the dead-pan ‘No.’ No mercy, no humor, just ‘no.’ Eh, such is life. So, I moved on and found Jeff, Dwayne, and Al, respectively. All a pleasure to meet and photograph. Al doesn’t do computers, but I look forward to getting in touch with Dwayne and Jeff to show them a copy of the final results.
This was so much fun, I’m going to try to make it a part of my regular off-day routine. Sweet.
