This is my day job.
The world of rope access had it’s anual conference in New Orleans this year. And part of that conference is the rope access olympics where Sam competed in the 30 meter speed climb and Tim (who holds the national record) competed in the rescue.
The cool thing about rope access is wether you’re a sport climber (which many are) or not, I’ve never come across anyone who doesn’t love their job. As far as day jobs go, it’s pretty cool.
