Yesterday, for Labor Day, me and Kristin, and Katie and McKenzie did some stuff. I would have had pictures of all that, buuuut: i forgot my camera.

Joe!!

Alas, I'm diverting the rest of this post to Katie's blog.

At one point I did pick up Katie's camera and take a picture of the rain.

This gun doesn't recoil this much, I was just doing a left-hander so I could hold my camera with the right.  I didn't hit anywhere near my target:

This is aimed at those who have a hard time slowing down.  Who often get stuck at 100.  So, stop looking at my blog, eat more food, and come back tomorrow for more pictures!

Labor Day was Monday

Posted by jOe

This is my Labor Day post.

Three days late.

Aaaaall part of my plan.

You see, everybody who's writing or blogging about Labor Day published day-of or sometime on Tuesday, but not me.  I'm carving out a niche (laziness?).  There are many reasons for this, but primarily... Nevermind.

Anyway, on to the blog!  Labor Day was nice--no--Great.  I spent the afternoon with my friends at Patricia's house, was surprisingly productive in the morning, and managed to even take a few pictures.  Usually whenever I shoot an event or scene I focus on the two things I am inevitably drawn to: the details and the people that make those details.  In this case, I kind of became lax on part two of my philosophy, but I did get a paparazzi shot of Brandon.  That makes up for it, right?

This weekend, Saturday to be exact, I'll be going on a Man-Hike with some friends.  We'll be trekking the perilous woods of the Homochitto National park in Mississippi.  Sort of like an adventure.  And we have MREs.  Henry's still on the fence whether or not he's going to wear his boonie hat.

I'll have some cool pictures in a few days, so check back soon!

In the meantime, enjoy some random pictures from Labor Day!
